Manage part orders and pricing.

  • Part orders represent transactions such as parts sales directly to a customer, parts ordered for a specific work order, parts ordered to replenish a technician’s truck stock, or parts ordered to replenish a warehouse.  A part order can be processed through many states such as reserve, back order, pick, ship, and receive.

Keep your parts organized and detailed.

Parts Catalogs

Part cataloging offers you the flexibility of grouping parts into catalogs for better organization. Displaying part information to field engineers insures they are selecting from a list of parts applicable to the type of work they are performing or the type of machine they are servicing.

Part Information
  • Organize parts by number, model number, description, family, line, and more.
  • Attach pictures, service manuals, or websites to the part master record.
  • The ‘Installed At’ link provides quick access to sites that have those parts installed.
  • Use the ‘Vendors’ link to quickly check lists of vendors you normally source parts from.

Keep master part records with revisions and alternates.

  • Revisions functionality allows you to keep the same part master record but apply revisions when minor design changes or software revisions occur.
  • Revision information is useful to identify the not only the major component part but also changes that have occurred over time.
  • Alternates allows you to specify the appropriate replacement parts for the current part.
  • Alternates are very useful in logistics processing to help personnel find appropriate spare parts to send to customers or technicians.

Easy top-down view of your part and material costs.

Bill of Materials
  • Build a hierarchical representation of the sub components that are typically found in a high level part.
  • Optionally install all sub-components into a customer’s site assets when a higher level part is installed.
Part Pricing
  • Multiple price and cost schedules.
  • Maintain multiple price books depending on the type of customer you are servicing.
  • Store historical pricing information.

Part Domains

  • Define characteristics for groups of parts
  • Control part serialization, inclusion in part catalogs, rules for installation into site asset configurations, and more!
